The CSK Global Foundation is working towards setting up a RO plant 100-liter capacity at the Government High School, Vadavalam. This plant will provide clean and safe drinking water for more than 600 students studying there. The goal of the foundation was to assist the school in making all forms of infrastructure neat and clean. This includes the water plant and any other facility that needed renovation and recovery.
Access to safe drinking water is hard to get in the locality of the School. This open water supply could lead to health complications in children. Our team has been working with the School Management, and the District Education Officers to install the RO treatment plant inside the school campus. The plant is set to be open for use on 20th September 2023. With this plant in operation the students will get access to clean drinking water all year round.
Installation of Gates for the School
We will continue to upgrade our schools so that every child feels comfortable during their early years of education. Another effort towards development of school infrastructure is to install a big size gate & a small gate at the Kayampatti High School, Vadavalam. This ensures that the school premises are safe and provide protection against miscreants and prevent the misuse of school buildings. The gates are getting ready to be installed. By 20th September 2023 both these facilities will become operational in the Government High School, Kayampatti, Vadavalam.
Future Endeavours
Our foundation hopes to expand this idea to many more Schools in Tamil Nadu so that every deserving child is benefitted out of it. This program is part of our foundation’s goal to make school education accessible to all children, and improve the enrolment ratio in the schools. With the morning and mid-day meals schemes being successfully operated by the State Government, our foundation hopes to supplement their efforts towards bringing children into the educational system.
