As part of our efforts to making our planet greener, CSK Global Foundation has planned to conduct a sapling distribution program in the Mullur Panchayat, Pudukkottai District. The afforestation drive is scheduled to be held on 20/09/2023 at 10:30AM and will include the distribution of more than 10000 fruit tree saplings.

Our founder, Mr. Chithira Selva Kumar’s idea of distributing fruit tree saplings to school children and the general public is coming to a fruition as we have received support from the District Collector of Pudukkottai. Fruit tree saplings are an effective answer for both afforestation and to solve the children’s nutritional needs in the years to come. By providing the children with the saplings, we can teach the younger generations the importance of growing trees, and also cultivate patience within them. In the future, these saplings will also supplement the dietary and nutritional needs of these children.

About 10,000 saplings have been meticulously selected from various nurseries and are being brought to the Panchayat. Every child, man, and woman who wishes to grow their own tree and look after it will be given any number of saplings they desire. Planting the trees and growing them will also make the village a much greener place in the years to come.

The event scheduled for 20/9/23 will be presided by the District Collector, and the Founder of CSK foundation Mr. Chithirai Selva Kumar, along with the Headmaster and other staff of the Government High School, Mullur.
